Malaysia Kitchen will be hosting a Malaysian Winter Market on The Southern Terrace on Saturday 22nd January.
With 12 restaurants serving both traditional and contemporary Malaysian cuisine, as well as the chance to buy authentic Malaysian products, there is something for everyone!
Indulge your sweet tooth with a cup of hot ‘teh tarik’ (traditional Malaysian tea made with condensed milk) and be astounded by the skills of the ‘teh tarik’ man as he creates a true spectacle and ceremony out of the tea pouring.
With a wide variety of dishes on offer, try a delicious, warming Laksa or a spicy Beef Rendang, packed with flavour, as a well deserved treat before or after your shopping trip. After finding your favourite, collect a discount voucher for Malay Taste products sold in the Waitrose store and recreate the dish at home!

A czego probowalismy?
Wielkich, smazonych na glebokim oleju, wciaz goracych i nadziewanych warzywami (glownie jakas slodka kapusta) 'spring rolls':
Niezbyt ostrego, wolowego curry z ryzem:
Ryzu, niezbyt ostrego, bo dla dzieci i smazonego z krewetkami i jajkiem - 'nasi goreng':
I wreszcie - tradycyjnej, ostrej malezyjskiej zupy, z owocami morza i mleczkiem kokosowym 'laksa':
